Charlene Sarmiento is the manager of marketing and brand development at Goodwill Industries International, the second largest nonprofit, according to the Nonprofit Times. She reviews and manages messaging, creative development and brand standards for Goodwill. She also writes, directs and manages the creation of public-facing content, messaging and marketing campaigns—including video production. Before Goodwill, Charlene wrote for WJLA-TV and produced news for Voice of America TV. Charlene has a bachelor’s in global and international studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is an MBA student at the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
